Decent enough

The last update introduced the bafflingly awful 'plunder' mechanic where, after losing a defensive battle, you now need to pay premium currency to get your character's equipment back. This is on top of the in-game resources (and time delay) for repairs and healing.

Given there are no limits on farming lower level players, it's basically requiring you to pay every time a level 28+ raids you while you're offline. To be fair, this is largely offset by a daily login bonus that gifts gold, but it still takes the worst element (getting farmed) and makes it even more depressing.

It's an annoying addition to what is otherwise a decent GoW clone with a few clever twists and a very polished nautical theme.

Constantly crashes

I’ve been playing for less than a week....I’d be enjoying it more if the game would stop crashing so frequently....the developers servers were upgraded this afternoon (my time) and since then I have not been able to log back in.....the developers don’t reply to your messages about the issue....very poor form!

Buggy - ripoff in game purchases

Simply an app to leech money off people whilst having incredibly expensive in-game purchases to be competitive.

Has components to game that require a massive amount of spending and then luck to even upgrade. This is like a form of gambling where you will never win, but The makers of the app certainly will.

Game is buggy and laggy. It even has the propensity to overheat your phone.
