Really love these games
Started with ‘The Ghosts of Ravenwood’ and loved every minute. Yes you hit points where you run out of energy, but if I am enjoying a game I don’t mind contributing to those with the skill required to create it. This is a complex game that had to have required a great deal of effort to produce. A little bit of money gets a lot of game time. I loved that it was not a short, knock it off in a couple of hours type of game. Puzzles are reasonably difficult but not too difficult. Love the presentation. In a world that seems determined to produce thoughtless, shoot everything in sight games, this is a wonderful break. Thanks to all involved!
Devs need to balance energy better
The game itself is good. Graphics are great in comparison to similar games and the puzzles are interesting.
The only issue I have as does it appears many other players is the energy.
You need to use energy to make moves however the problem is the energy loss to energy regeneration/energy cap is severely unbalanced meaning you can only play for a short time before having to wait a disproportionately long time for energy to recharge enough to actually keep playing.
The alternative is to spend real world money but given the rate energy is lost at this would be an extremely costly method of regaining energy and not something the average player would be able to do.
The play experience of this game could be significantly improved if the developers better balanced the energy and regeneration because at this point the current situation with energy is ridiculous.
Now I know why I stopped playing this game the first time-Not enough energy
This could be a really good game if you had more energy, you can only do a few things at the most before the very limited amount of energy runs out, if you want more you have to yep you guessed it spend REAL money to get rubies to buy more or watch a 30 second ad then wait 1 hour before you can get more energy. At this rate I’ll be a skeleton before I even finish the first unsolved mystery. Either up the amount of energy given a day for FREE or lower the amount of energy needed for each action. Not paying real money for being able to only do a few actions a day. 3 stars is generous.
Still nothing has been done about the energy levels even after a couple of years, goes to show the developers don’t listen to or respond to the players and are just about getting money.
