Your UPRIGHT GO or UPRIGHT GO 2 is worn discreetly on your upper back and provides you with immediate posture feedback.
In TRAINING mode, the GO vibrates gently when you slouch to remind you to maintain an upright posture. The vibration can be easily customized to best fit your personal lifestyle and preferences. In TRACKING mode, the GO keeps track of your daily posture habits without vibrating.
The UPRIGHT GO mobile app is where you’ll find tutorials to guide you along with daily statistics to track your progress and live monitoring of your posture status using an animated character.
The app generates a personalized training plan customized to meet your individual needs, including a set of daily training goals. Each goal represents your recommended daily training time.
In the Apple Watch app, you can view your current posture status, switch between TRAINING and TRACKING modes, and get live training feedback on the go.
The app also writes your workout data to the Health app (HealthKit) to enable integration between workouts and Upright training.
Our app now supports our brand new UPRIGHT GO 2 device as well!
Ratings and Reviews
First review I’ve ever written
Purchased this with trepidation (had considered a piece of string around my finger) but I completely impressed. It works perfectly. I know I don’t sit well (I slouch) and need to address this as I get older. (Multiple chiro adjustments over last few weeks due to using laptop and not using my desktop monitor - I was being lazy)No problems with it sticking. App is good and its good to see that my slouching is not always happening (in tracking mode). I’ve had it on for 3 hours and I’m a little stiff because I’m paying attention to my posture. Don’t know how long it will take me to undo 45 years of bad posture but 3 hours today so far is better than nothing.
Love the device, hate the watch app
I really like this device and the phone app — but unfortunately the Apple Watch app is unusable. Once you start training, it puts the watch in exercise mode (little white running man icon in the top of the watch face) and never turns it off, so every single minute 20+ new active calorie entries get added to Health, resulting in absurdly high active calories until you disable it. First time this happened I didn’t notice for 2 hours and it took me 45 minutes to laboriously delete every individual entry in Health and get my calories down to a normal level.
The only way I’ve found to disable exercise mode on the watch (once upright go has started it) is to start and stop a native Apple Watch workout — toggling training mode in the Watch app or the phone app doesn’t turn exercise mode off on the watch. Disabling the phone app’s access to write Health data doesn’t prevent this behaviour either, because the spurious entries are being added by watchOS (due to it being in exercise mode) not the upright go app. The only way to prevent this happening is to delete the app from the watch completely.
Really disappointing because the Watch app is extremely convenient and I’d love to keep using it. I hope this gets addressed in a release soon.
Developer Response ,
Hi Aofdnvfjrfskk and thank you for your review.
According to Apple regulations, using the UPRIGHT GO App on the Apple-Watch will automatically count as training time in the Health Kit app.
If you think it interferes with your tracking data, you can simply disable the "Auto Start". When it is not marked, it shouldn't record the UPRIGHT GO's training data on the Health Kit as part of your workout data.
Our customer support team would love to hear more from you in order to improve your experience at email@example.com or via the in-app chat.
My upright go has just arrived. I got it to correct my back and rounded shoulders. It works really well, but the adhesive is very weak! I’ve got hair on my back, which makes it more difficult, but you can hardly call this adhesive, it’s very much post-it strength! Everything else is just fine!
