Good app, could be better

Please give the option of having the written version of the text in the games. For things like pinyin, the audio supported by the pinyin on the screen will give better pronunciation. Please do this!

Thanks for saying you like our app and we always appreciate suggestions. At the moment we provide Pinyin (a written guide to how Chinese words are pronounced) alongside spoken Chinese words in four out of our six games: Phrase Practice, Easy Game, Speaking Game and Recall Game. Great app, and the customer service.. exceptional.

I’ve been using the baby version of the app for a long while. Only recently have I upgraded to this full version. It is a great language learning app. I’m a fan of the Pimsleur language learning method, and this resembles that method.

The customer service - another level again. They were absolutely wonderful to deal with throughout a whole problem I was experiencing. I dealt with the same person throughout, which I appreciate (instead of random team members picking up the thread along the way, and only half knowing the history). Very fast response times, and they will endeavour to find a solution that pleases you, even if it puts themselves at a disadvantage.

Excellent app

To people whinging that the games are hard, of course they challenge you, this is learning a language, not playing candy crush. You need to study the phrase lists to be able to use the games to test your knowledge.

I did purchase access to 6 languages on special so I don’t know how fast you earn coins, but I’ve got nearly 200 built up from not much work.

I have used this for Chinese (mandarin- just revision on uni work), Japanese and am working on Slovenian. It won’t give you a deeper understanding of grammar, just what you glean from given phrases, but to rote learn phrases and key words/vocabulary this is a robust app that gives access from many languages to many languages.
