I have been using this app for a while and they did such a good job for upgrading the trading environment for the users with multiple functions. Wish there could be more tools available to add for trading though. And I like how often they come up with different promotions! After all I had a great experience using Vantage FX;)

If your a beginner this is a great app. I think the demo needs to be updated to a lesser amount of $$$ or change your amount $$$ for a real life experience. There is good basic tools to use but unfortunately there are not enough tools to choose from I have to use other apps for real technical analysis. It does lag behind real time data for professionals who use second by second information. In saying that I like using this app for trading as the company is in Australia and is highly regulated and safe as I can visit them in Sydney if needed plus my account manager is always available for a conversation without waiting for days and emails are always sent for monthly reports without even having to worry about waisting my time it’s done for me. The back pages (pop ups/ analysis pages etc) are great for both beginners and professionals but once you get into fundamentals I use other subscriptions for more details. In saying all this a few upgrades to make it the one stop platform will give it the edge over the rest of the world. I give it 4 stars because it’s a perfect platform to build from.

I’ll start with the good: The app feels professional and the data you receive is fast. It does some things really well and I think with a few tweaks it could be even better.The bad: Being an app it is meant to be easy and user friendly but in some ways it’s quite the opposite. When placing an order you can only order by lot size. This is an app, its “trading on the go” having to do math while trying to place an order is a nuisance. A simple figure of how many units you are buying would be all it needs. Similar to what you see with your SL/TP risk and reward figures.Next is the chart. You can only scroll left and right. There’s no zoom. You have to change time frames to 1D or higher just to see where you’ve placed your SL and TP then your timeframe is too high to see how your trade is tracking.Demo: it’s too short. Demo account only lasts about a week then you have to reset. This is far too short for someone using demo to test their strategies. Should last at least 30 days but I’m not sure why it even has a limit at all.

I really dislike the new update. Based on which customer feedback did Vantage do this? It’s beyond me. For example I can not see my open position and the chart at the same time any more. That was so handy. Instead they have added a useless “traders sentiment bar” which is rather distracting than helpful. And they have hidden one of the most popular time frame charts (4hrs) and you have to do an extra step to get to it. User “unfriendly” is the right word here.
