Pre processing
This app is very very quick, so it’s great for pre processing. I use it to get rid of footage that is junk and then pull the product into my video projects.
While the fine triming is not so great and the help is not, the overall program is quick and simple. My drone video has lots a video I don’t want and this app is the best way to get rid of that video.
Does not save & rewrites original file with zero byte file
After an awful lot of work to edit a video file I was advised the free version would leave a water mark - no problems I thought I'll do that, except it 'exported' over the original video file with with a nul sized file. So not only all the hard work gone from editing, all the original hard work is gone as well. I thought it might be a glitch with the free one and at A$7.99 isn't really all that much for an easy to use trimming app, so I dragged out the backup, went through the long process of re editing the movie and viola! samething happened again. Still feeling the milk of human kindness I went to the app store clicked the App Support link and was taken to a support area that DID NOT inclued this application as part of the service and support. I am not stupid- I want my money back. I feel a bit cheated. Plus I won't be emailing anyone out of the app store eco system. It was easy to use but that's just not good enough.
Everything I could wish for in this type of App
I have used many video editing programs - professional and amateur. That being said I am a retired IT professional in business systems and Database design, so I pretty well know my way around programs from many platforms and how they work. Therefore I, in most cases, do not need to use a users guide . This app requires you to experiment and work out for yourself. To me it is self explanatory, but to a newbie it maybe a little daunting. This is because it is not a high end video editing software where everything is handed to you on a platter. BUT it does everything all those expensive programs do and quickly. I have used every process this app offers for 2 to 3 years now. I am very happy with it and will continue to use it on my Mac Pro.
