Visible: Long Covid & ME/CFS 17+

Unwell for 25 years, this app changed that

To say I’m grateful for this app would be an understatement. I have struggled so badly with burnout/fatigue/ME/POTS/reoccurring illnesses and more for 25+ years. I could never go a stretch of more than 5 weeks without crashing and burning until I just couldn’t do anything any more. That was three years ago. I have been to 5 GP’s, countless specialists and no one has been able to help me. Then I went to a clinic specialising in invisible illnesses and they recommended this app to me. I was hesitant, sceptical and reluctant, but the more I used it, the better I became. 4 months on I am truly a different person. When I’d get a cold, it would take me 4 weeks to get over. My last cold took me 4 days!!! I am no longer crashing with fatigue, I’m able to pace myself and most importantly, I can share my score each day with my family so they can see how much energy I have to spare, and how much they are going to have to help me out that day. To have an app this effective and free has been a game changer and I have been recommending it to everyone, regardless of whether they have CFS/ME or not. Thank you so much for giving me my life back. I didn’t think I was ever going to get there.

Gets better and better

I’ve been using this app since December 2022 and it was great for logging symptoms but once I amassed a ton of data it wasn’t particularly easy to see the trends anymore. I also found it harder over time to explain my wide ranging symptoms in a concise way to health professionals or even friends and family.

The new health report is a massive step forward. Page 1 in particular is the super concise summary I’ve been looking for.

I’d love to also be able to generate the most prevalent (& severe) symptoms for narrower time periods to concisely communicate how my symptoms keep shifting over time. So I’m really looking forward to using the new data export feature!

This app keeps going from strength to strength and when the integration with a wearable health monitor goes public it’s going to be life changing for so many people.

Note: I’ve finally received a diagnosis that isn’t actually ME/CFS or Long Covid so I can confirm that the app is also extremely useful for other conditions that share similar symptoms and/or require pacing

The app I’ve always needed

I’m so glad to see this app. As someone living with ME/CFS for 15 years, I’ve tried all the pacing strategies, and used a range of fitness wearables which measure heart rate to assist with pacing. This is focusing specifically on the key aspects of management for my illness. The inbuilt capacity for measuring hr and hrv and the pacing score is invaluable. Can’t wait to see how this develops. Excellent app that’s easy to use and provides very relevant data. Thanks to the inventors! You can tell the team behind this has lived experience of ME/CFS and Long Covid.
