This app helped me so much!
In Europe last year I had no phone data but using the downloaded visit a city app enabled me to see exactly where I was at all times on their map. The Blue dot moved when I did and I was able to get around with ease, even without mobile data! The information given on the sites was not always up to date (prices mainly) but it wasn’t too far off, and the quick review of each place gives you enough information about where you are and what you are looking at to be able to appreciate it, without it getting too boring or complicated. I am going back to Europe again this year and the first thing I did after booking my flights was go to this app and start working on the new trip ideas. It gives you so much information on what you could do and is easy to edit and download so you have it all on the go. Love this App!
Choose your own adventure with a twist!
Ive not used this ‘Visit a City’ app much but it has been impressive so far as we plan our trip through Spain. It is designed to maximise your time once you chose where to go.
First there are SO MANY towns, and SO MANY activities... And it seems very flexible, it doesn’t force activities on to you, and it gives you choices like 1, 2 or 3 day versions of a visit to, say, Bilbao. There are even casual and full speed versions. I gather you can then pick activities you like and make them into your own adventure!
Ive tried a few - and there are many - but this one seems easy to use. Impressed the way it is free but they can arrange bookings and presumably take a cut. Small price to pay for the convenience of pulling all this stuff together.
Great travel companion
A really great App, I’m currently on holiday, just been to Amsterdam now I’m in Rome. It gives heaps of great savings on tickets to sites and transport options as well. It’s even available offline, which is really useful - especially the maps (which shows your current location somehow even off line - great to show if you are walking in the right direction, we most certainly would have been lost if it wasn’t for this App!)
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
