No video via screen mirroring
I see other people have complained about no video when playing via dongle to tv - I have the same issue with screen mirroring via apple tv, since installing the update this morning. Is this going to be fixed in the next update too? And roughly when can we expect the fix? And is there any way to revert to the old version of the app in the meantime?
This will teach me to read app reviews before installing updates in future... 😒
Some improvements, some non-improvements
I like that you can now sort by duration, this is something I’ve wanted for a while. Performance with the new update is perfect as always too.
My one complaint however, is a big one: folders are gone! The video tab just lists all videos in one big pile, which means you have to sift through all the existing videos to find newly added ones. Please bring back folders as this is pretty annoying.
Other than that, love the app, great work guys.
It used to be the best video app before. However, after updating to the latest version, all my folders are gone!!! Can any developer imagine the difficulty to rearrange hundreds of videos back into their places? Hope there is going to be a fix soon!
Re: Yes, all the folders has been transferred into playlists. But there are a giant amount of files missing in every playlist! The most terrible one decreased from around 50 to only 1!!!
For the new Update
Even though all my videos are well-organised by folders in the file system, the “smart” video group function in the new update surprises me with this amazing result: It extracts all the episode 1 from all my TV series and group into folder 1, all the episode 2 into folder 2 etc... Can any program designer in the team really try to understand what users need, and bring back the simple but helpful “folder” please!!!
Developer Response ,
Your folders should be in the playlist tab if you created them manually. For automatic created folders (like for TV shows), those are gone for now but will come back in an update very soon!
Edit: sorry, this is not how the transition was intended to work.
