Description
Use the Vodia PBX telephone system from home, from the office and from anywhere using your iOS device!
This app takes the VoIP phone to a new level. You can use your iPhone as extension to the Vodia PBX and work from any place that has a decent internet connection. If you like, you can use it in parallel with one or more VoIP phones on your desk.
Users can send, receive and transfer calls. Calls are put on hold when other calls are coming in from other apps. Sending DTMF and muting the audio is possible, and the user can switch between speaker phone, handset and bluetooth devices. It registers for the Apple push notification service to wake it up for incoming calls.
Users can send each other text messages or images. If the PBX is set up for SMS, the user can also send and receive messages to external parties.
Users can see what extensions are available, on DND or in a call. Users can control their DND status manually from the app or automatically from the telephone system, making work/life balance easier. Users review the call history on the PBX through the app. The user can see what voicemail messages are available and listen to them right from the app. The users address book on the PBX is available through the app.
The installation uses a 2D code from the PBX or a link in the invitation email; entering a username and password is not necessary. The app needs iOS 13 to run. The app works best with version 68 or 69 of the Vodia PBX.

distorted
volume is far too loud compared to regular phone app. speaker is distorted and constant adjustment of volume is needed when switching between use of the regular phone app and this app. has no option for internal vomule control. Every user at my organization has this same issue.

We introduced AGC because of some complains of users that had SIP trunks with too low volume. But today most trunks provide perfect audio levels and there is no need to mess with the gain any more. We'll make the AGC optional in the next version through a switch.
Apps great
App works perfect, would be nice to see transfers tweaked so you can scroll through the list of staff to pick them instead of typing an extension number, but other wise provides a great tool to make and take calls as your desk phone from the mobile. I have not had audio issues, if your systems are setup right with regards to NAT and ALG you should be fine.
Use to work
App you to work great. Now when I use it from my mobile and call the office, they can hear me but I can’t hear them. When I try and swap speaker modes, I can hear the other side for a brief second then can’t again.
Would love to know why it’s doing this! Maybe the app needs updating

Well I doubt this is a problem of the app it self, it's more the problem on how the PBX is set up. For example, does it work from the browser? Is your PC or mobile phone on IPv4/IPv6 and is the firewall for the PBX configured for this. Unfortunately the app itself cannot find a way around the firewall and this problem needs to be solved before you can use it.
