The Free Trial Scam
So like majority of shady apps and iOS websites, the app offers a “7 day free trial” now obviously if you don’t opt out you get hit with a huge subscription fee that’s standard, HOWEVER the free trial ISN’T 7 Days it’s only 3 days, when you click the 7 day free trial a pop up will come up to accept but it states in small writing it’s only 3 days.
Clearly a way of hoping gullible users will not notice and have the subscription fee charged to them.
Don’t support people like this, don’t download it.
The worst
I tried to use this VPN when in China only to realise it didn’t work at all. So I cancelled my subscription soon after, only to be charged over $50 for an annual subscription I had no use for! Although I had opted for the free 7 day trial option and had cancelled well within this period. I tried to contact the app to rectify this situation but they don’t even reply back to your emails. The worst experience I have ever had with apps on Apple Store.
