MEMBERSHIP TRIAL AND SUBSCRIPTION TERMS
Start your VSCO membership with a free 7-day trial. Once the trial is over, you’ll be charged an annual subscription fee. Your VSCO membership will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can go to your Settings > iTunes Account & App Store > Apple ID > Subscriptions to manage your membership and turn auto-renew off. Your iTunes Account will be charged when the purchase is confirmed.

Like a good denim jacket, VSCO's got a coolness factor that can’t be measured. It isn’t just a set of perfectly made film-emulation presets and editing tools. It’s also a community of more than 30 million creators sharing and discovering their work—photography so striking it’ll make you wanna march outside and snap some of your own.
VSCO X Video - 1080p Please? (Better Resolution)
VSCO Cam has been one of my all time editing apps ever and with the addition of editing videos through the VSCO X program, I adore this app even more. However, it would really be great and beneficial if VSCO allows us to export the edited videos at least up to 1080p. I know that 4K is not a must and that is totally fine, but I would’ve like to export videos after editing at FullHD resolution and not up to 720p for better, high quality videos. I think that a lot of consumers would’ve like to save not only the best looking photos, but also producing the best looking videos don’t you think? Overall, I admire VSCO as a whole but I think with a couple of improvements like saving videos in FullHD resolution, VSCO would have potential of being the perfect photo and video editing app.
Features got taken away
I’ve using VSCO since years ago and purchased several bundles of presets that I love. Now it’s changing into a subscription based app which is totally cool.
But taking away essential controls such as Highlights and Shadows and making those paid function buttons locked in place so every time you want to use the free buttons you have to scroll through them, is just disgusting and elementary-level customer manipulation tricks. It makes people who even considered to purchase the subscription feel their intelligence being insulted if doing so.
As a photographer I will be leaving VSCO right now. There’s equally good options out there such as Polarr, which offers slightly less film like filters but way better in every other functionalities. Its just sad and stupid that so many companies nowadays choose to used these dirty p2w tricks in all kinds of apps and abuse behavioural economics. It’s such a shortsighted business plan and will eventually lead to nothing but failure.
