Water Reminder uses HealthKit in order to record drinking data to Nutrition section in Health application. The app requests access to the following data types: Water, Caffeine, Protein, Dietary Energy, Fat, Carbs and Sugars. When you add a drink to the app - it automatically sends to Health app the following nutritional information of that drink: water, caffeine, protein, calories, fat, carbs and sugars content. The synchronization with Apple Health can be switched off in the application Settings.

As a Water Reminder app user, you can choose the subscription plan that best suits your needs. Our Premium 1-year subscription plan offers unlimited access to all drinks, notification sounds, app widget, watch and remove all advertising in exchange for a single payment. In addition, 1-month subscription is available for users. For your convenience, subscriptions are set to automatically renew within the 24-hour period prior to the subscription end date. You can cancel your subscription at any moment in your iTunes account settings but refunds will not be provided for any unused portion of the terms. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

Needs a Few More Options .

This is a great app, I recently upgraded to the full version and I’m enjoying using it. I really would like to see you add some diet options, such as sugar free soft drinks, I often use these and it’s difficult to know where to put them.

Used to be great. Now, not so much.

When I first downloaded this app in Jan 2021, it was great. It gave me the free drink choices I needed (water, coffee, and wine) without having to sign up to the premium version, and it didn’t pester me about having to sign up. The pop-ups for the premium version came up occasionally but they weren’t intrusive. It was a great app.

Now, almost every second time I open the app to add a drink, I get a pop-up to sign up for the premium version AND now I’m very frequently getting ads for third-party apps.

Which is why I’ve given the review 2 stars. The product itself is great, and should get 5 stars. I’ve deducted 3 stars for the developer’s relentless pushing of pop-ups and third-party ads which, to me, demonstrates a clear contempt for people using the app.

I know app developers need to create revenue, and I was aware when I first downloaded the app there would be in-app purchases, but this relentless cascade of premium pop-ups and new third-party app ads is ridiculous.

If this continues I shall be deleting the app and downloading something from another developer.

this is an amazing app i use it to track my water and look amazing but you can also use it for loosening weight and getting fit. I have seen very good results definitely recommend 😊😝
