Description

What Can I Sing is an on-demand App for Karaoke requests. The user interface allows patrons to find nearby venues via geo-location map and see the hours of operation for Karaoke in each venue. The App will allow patrons view the host’s songbook and make requests. Patrons can include a key change request and also see a list of their requests. This list will show if the host has accepted or rejected the request. The Patron can also receive a notification to tell them it is their turn next.
The host interface receives the requests and allows the host to manage the order and send the notifications to the patrons. This will eliminate the need for the host to collect paper requests and refine them into order. Often the writing on these paper requests can be hard to read especially in darker environments. The App will solve this issue. The App will also eliminate the need for patrons to go searching for a songbook or waiting for one to become available.
Hosts will have the ability to manage their songbooks, venue details, hours of operation and when requests will open, all online. They will also be able to add or remove venues, and manage their subscriptions easily.

Great idea it just needs some fine tuning, I had my phone right up on bright mode and there still was no type of text showing so I had trouble viewing and selecting the types of songs that I wanted, very disappointed and will have to wait and see if I decide to give it another go

Developer Response ,

Your phone is in "Dark Mode". We have a patch coming (should arrive in a few days). But in the meantime, go to your Settings, then "Display & Brightness" and change it to "Light mode". Dark mode is changing the black text to white. On a white background, it just can't be seen (but it is still there). It is not the "brightness level". Apple has a "dark mode" and a "light mode". - ** Update ** Patch has been released. Just update your App and you are good to go.

Bad Review

The host didn’t let me sing boys a liar of 2 or wap honestly never felt so upset in my life 😔😣

Developer Response ,

Sorry Roan. But we have no control over what the Host allows or declines. We just provide the songbook and request platform. Your complaint is just like someone giving Tinder a bad review because you wouldn't go on a second date with them. That's not Tinder's fault. Or giving FB a bad rating because somone gave a negative comment on your post. That's not FB's fault. The Host denying your request is frustrating, but not our fault!

Fantastic

Developers are helpful and very friendly. Open to suggestions and feedback. This app is only going to get better and better

Developer Response ,

They are separate. The App is "Location Based". This is to make it easier to find. So when you select the location (Venue), you are selecting the specific songbook for that location/host. The Host for that venue has specifically uploaded their own personal songbook for that venue. If you choose a differrent venue, you will get the songbook that is for that venue. We have some hosts that work in multiple venues. They often use the same songbook for each venue. Happy to be contacted admin@whatcanising.com if you need more help.
