Already turning out beautiful steaks and roast chickens. Full flavour. Easy to use and clean. Wood chip smoker box works just as well as it did in the old gas BBQ. Temperature sensors are a wonderful thing. This is the future now. Would love it if the app could predict when my roast is going to reach its target core temperature. At the moment I just use a ruler to extrapolate the time on the temperature graph.
Great app with some minor flaws

The app is very user friendly and works great except when it drops out. To be honest, I’m not sure if it’s the app or the iGrill itself, but even when my phone doesn’t move from the bench which is only 2m from the bbq, it can intermittently loose connection several times throughout even a short cook. If I’m doing a low and slow cook over 10-12hrs, it may drop out 6-8 times which is annoying. Otherwise it is a very well thought out app and I can’t really fault it or have any recommendations other than if you could add a photo to your saved cooks. I think that would be cool to help bring back some memories of your favorite cook ups.
Does not push temperature update to Apple Watch

At times I feel that it’s just not telling the correct temperature and I have to keep checking the probe, where it tends to play catch up on the app sometimes rather than tell the current temperature,Then there is the need to always unlock the phone and check the app in order for it to update on Apple Watch with the push notifications setting turned on, I reinstalled it just in case and it did the same thing, so annoying as the Bluetooth distance is quite limited since it’s only running on a tiny battery, so with the Apple Watch I could have had a longer range considering I could leave the phone close by, but it just doesn’t work that way.

I have found this hands little device extremely useful for slow cooking in our BGE Mushikamado. I can go about preparing other dishes while setting an alarm for up to 4 different temperatures. Handy when you have expensive cuts of meat or long cook times. Great value. Would have given 5 stars except for the average quality of the probes. But spares are available although overpriced. Battery life great. Well worth the price.
This update fixes an issue where opening a large probe temperature screen on iOS 26.1 could cause the app to stop responding.
