Fantastic and accurate app for helping your own memory

I have had this app working for a few months now. I checked it regularly just to see how it was going in terms of accuracy. I’m now in an area close to a virus cluster where I need to check the reported exposure venues against my movements regularly. Today a venue and time was listed that I had visited. I went straight to the app and found that I was at the location at that time and therefore was considered a casual contact who needed to be tested.

It’s good but not very accurate

I was looking for an app to keep a record of my movements during this challenging time. COVIDSafe app is only usable if the others are using it and your Bluetooth is on providing your connection has not been switched off when connected to your car Bluetooth.
This app does the job but it’s not accurate for instance it shows me at no 16 , then at 22, then at 21 when I’m at no 18.
No 21 is across the road some 30m away. No 22 is again 2 houses away.
Another address we visited was 107 but on the app it shows as 119 that 7 houses down the road.
Paul mate can you fix this app it’s great but not accurate enough if I get sick and it’s downloaded it will be of no use.

The app uses your location as determined by GPS. Unfortunately GPS signals can be degraded when you are indoors. The green shaded circle shows the location accuracy. The app is intended to help you remember where you were at a particular time; Even if it shows that you were at number 119 on Thursday afternoon, two weeks ago, you will probably remember that you were visiting friends at number 107 at that time.

If you are using iOS14 it is also important that you allow precise location
