Good, but not quite there yet

I have three UniFi ceiling-mounted access points, all with different SSIDs. When using Net Analyser on my iPhone 7, I can see the access point SSIDs change as I walk through my house, but not so for WiFi SweetSpots.

However WiFi SweetSpots is OK for taking a static reading, moving to the next access point, then manually refreshing the iPhone to take a reading at that spot.

WiFi SweetSpots would certainly be a really useful tool if it could continuously monitor the signal strength of the active access point’s SSID when moving between them. This would help in optimising the positioning of access points.

Good but

It is a good app for what it does. Works well with clear view of output.
It only gives signal strength of one network and nothing’s else e.g. ability to swap networks or change data through put test load.
Still a lot better than having ‘nothing’.

Great app for measuring wifi signal strength in different parts of house

Finally found a simple app to measure and record varying wifi signal strength around the house. Great for checking where good and bad wifi coverage spots are, to help decide what to do about them and how effective your changes are.
