Great tool for optimising WiFi in your house

I've got a large house with a main access point, and an ethernet link to a 2nd access point at the other end of the house, and using this tool to get a handle on just where were the "deadspots" in the house, and whether I had WiFi channels overlapping - different vendors for the h/w - was great. Not sure I've seen anything as comprehensive in the "consumer" space previously. A really, really useful tool.

Big fan. It’s my go-to

I picked up WiFi Explorer to provide insight into the wireless environment, espeically when exhibiting at conferences / expos. Since then, I’ve used it for home and work wifi diagnostics, and occasional snooping, of course. It’s a neat, consistently reliable platform with a slick layout. Short of a ‘Brute-force WPA2 Security’ click-button somewhere, it has all the basics for understanding your local wireless landscape.

Outstanding!

Worth every cent a hundred times over.
I've used this app for years to avoid congested wifi channels and analyse signal strength to optimise access point location.
Massive respect to the developer for providing such a polished and useful tool and for the regular updates which keep it that way.
