Description

Wipr blocks all ads, trackers, cryptocurrency miners, EU cookie and GDPR notices, and other annoyances, so you can focus on the content that matters to you while using Safari.

• Time, Data, and Battery Saver
Web pages load a lot faster with Wipr, and much less needs to be downloaded. Your battery will love this.

• Private
Wipr prevents countless trackers from invading your privacy. Wipr itself cannot, nor wants to, know what you do on the web.

• Fast
By using a new technology called Content Blocking Extensions, Wipr can do its job without slowing down Safari at all.

• Up-to-date
Wipr's blocklist is updated twice a week to keep up with the ever-changing web.

• Honest
No one can pay to unblock ads. There are no "acceptable ads". Wipr only answers to you.

• Global
Wipr will use an enhanced blocklist for Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Thai, and Vietnamese speakers.

• Smart
You can set up Wipr in seconds, and it will update automatically in the background to block future annoyances. There is no configuration.

This app was built with love and patience. I hope you'll enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed designing and building it.

Wipr is also available for your iPhone or iPad, look for it in the App Store!

Enjoy a cleaner web!

So far, pretty decent

Doesn't feel like browsing is any slower and I see very few ads. Being able to manually add an element would be nice but oh well.

The biggest annoyance is that pop-up windows on a site that rhymes with Lawn Grub aren't blocked. Just reporting this for a friend, ok?

So glad to see this in the App Store

I have been using the previous Safari extension, and had not realised that a full version was released on the Mac App Store.

Wipr is brilliant - and every “ad blocker” should work this way. It doesn’t read what you type (which is a security risk) and thus can’t ever be hacked to steal your passwords. Web pages load significantly faster without having to load the cruddy ads and scripts that are such a painful part of the web.

I wish Giorgo every success with this wonderful service.

Might As Well Just Click The Ads Yourself

That fact that this costs money and is worse than the Adblock Pro that's free on the app store. I went to canyoublockit's website and did an extreme test and Adblock pro had no issues and all the ads were blocked. But with this I might as well of thrown my money out my window, it's useless, it doesn't block anything and now I think my computer needs a rabies shot.

How Does This Cost Money!
