Description
The Thermo app helps you take care of your whole family’s health. Created for use with Thermo, the Withings smart temporal thermometer, the app automatically syncs temperature readings for each user via WiFi or Bluetooth. Each user can then view a complete history of temperature readings on their timeline.
To create a more detailed history, you can easily add extra information to each reading:
Symptoms: Whatever and whenever you or someone you care for experiences a symptom, it’s easier than ever to keep track so you can relay this info to your doctor.
Medicine: What did you take and when? Add medications administered to understand how they affect temperature and so you know when and if you need more.
Comments: Add any additional notes that may be relevant to your temperature or illness.
Photos: Strange rash? Feeling better? Select a picture from your phone’s gallery, or take a new picture to add to your timeline.
The Thermo app also provides the following useful features:
Reminder: Set a reminder to take your temperature at certain hours of the day or in specific time increments.
Manual Temperature: If you don’t own Withings Thermo, or simply want to enter additional temperature readings, you can do just that. Simply select “Manual Temperature” and add your details.
Thermo and Apple Health work seamlessly together, so you can retrieve all your health data in one place for easier health tracking.
If you log a high temperature reading, Thermo can help you assess the severity of your fever.

Connection Issues
It took several attempts to connect Thermo to my phone. The thermo kept saying SETUP even after I ran the setup. What worked for me was taking out the batteries and putting them back in and then running the setup again. It’s now working well. I just wish the screen with my readings displayed them on the screen. They show up there when first added them disappear and I have to tap the detail view to see the readings. I also kind of wish the app didn’t require weight at setup because if you have to weigh yourself before you can continue using the app, it makes it longer to setup and it can have an emotional toll on people to weigh themselves. I’d be interested how necessary it is to have the weight to process the readings. Just an observation, though. Now I have it setup, it’s working smoothly.
App not reliable
Unfortunately I keep having issues with the app and thermometer. I love it cause it’s accurate and so easy to use. And if the app wouldn’t make it so complicated it would be the best thermometer. But the app keeps making constantly problems. Either the temperature I took from one of my kids doesn’t appear in the app at all or the whole thermometer stops working and keeps telling me to sign in to the app. Once I did I tried to reinstall it to get it to work but absolutely nothing is happening. I had to install the app on my husbands phone and sing up with a different email address just to get the thermometer to work again. And now none of the temperatures I measure are being recorded in the app anymore and I have to add it all manually. Since it’s not working you might as well make the thermometer work without the app and let the people add it all manually if they want to. Or is Nokia so desperate to collect our data that either we use it with the app or not at all? Really disappointed considering how expansive the thermometer was. I give it three stars as the thermometer itself is handy, stylish and gives a really accurate reading, but unfortunately just too complicated for my taste. Now I can’t even post the review cause very name I try is apparently taken. Unbelievable!

It’s a great app, but …
This app was easy to set up and it was easy install my Thermo, but why do I have to “assign” my readings when I’m the only user?
Your app developer could use an IF test, for example, if user count >1 run the “assign to” routine ELSE add readings to default user.
It’s just a nuisance because it integrates perfectly with my Apple Health and the Withings app.
