1. Guess the word in 6 chances or less. Each time you guess a word, you will find out which letters are correct. Use this information to solve the puzzle. See how many chances it takes to get the answer and how many in a row you can get right. Try tons of different game modes including Impossible Mode (7 letter words) and Celebrity Mode (guess the names of celebrities).
2. Can you solve the crossword puzzle using only the letters on the board? Try your best with 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 letters!

Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase on a once a week basis. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed by you and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription where applicable.

Ratings and Reviews
There must be thousands of five-letter words …
… and this app chooses the most obscure ones. Quite a compelling (almost addictive) game but some answers are very obscure to the point you just guess an answer.
The scoring is rather haphazard too. For example, once you get a word just delete a letter, type it again and your score goes up.
Overall, a good start. Needs refining and get rid of some of the more obscure words.
Nice to use but terrible dictionary
Even the common words option includes rare and pointless words like stook, iroko , prees, jakes, jowar, melty that neither I nor Apple have ever heard of. Lots of American slang that the rest of us don’t use, but none of our own jargon or colloquialisms. Many perfectly good words are missed out like, and the only example I can remember, is monel. But others even more common. This needs a new dictionary. The definitions it gives at the end are useless as it only includes very common words, and it doesn’t give definitions for most of the words you have never heard of.
Later: takes ages to acknowledge completion of a game and you can’t move on to the next until that happens. Frustrating.
Update is awful
The update is awful! The game still advertises “play unlimited games!”, but this is misleading as there is now a wait time in between each game. You now suddenly have to pay an exorbitant amount of money for a yearly subscription ($45?) to play the higher levels of the game which used to be free to play for a simple word game. I understand paying a price for a game and the work that goes into it, but a subscription and especially one at this cost is crazy, particularly when you’re removing features, not adding. It’s a great game, really well formatted and really fun to play but please stop removing features.
