Totally Disappointed With WorldRemit
I was t he regular customer of WorldRemit and I recommended it to many of my friends but now i’m totally disappointed because of my last transaction. I sent the money and choose the option for Cash Pickup when my father reached to the bank the bank told to him we haven’t received any money from WorldRemit. I tried to call the Customer Support and after a long hold they pick my call and advised me that they already made the transaction and it should be available in your nominated banks. Than i said can you please contact with them and than they replied me we can only write a mail to them , i said ok but please let me know because i’m much worried. I waited for whole day but didn’t get any response from them tried to call them again next day and again after the so terrible customer service as I explained above they put me on hold for so long and when they picked my call and explained them everything and they were like “ok we can understand but we can only write them an email and than we will get back to you” and still haven’t got any response from them and today is my 3rd day and i’m writing this review and still i’m on call and they put me on hold for so long. Now I’m really worried and trapped as well and don’t know what to do !!!

It works until it does not work
I have been using worldremit for over a year an initially I had no issue. But in the past months, my experience with them have been awful. I had several transactions frozen or canceled. They had made me waste so much time, stoping my money from coming through and asking me a list of documents. Only for a week later or so, canceling my transactions and sending me a generic email about “possible” reasons why. They are quick to take the money out of the bank account, but it take them at least 3 working days to refund the money once the transaction is canceled. Today I woke up to an email saying my last transaction was canceled, saying it may be because the bank account is not correct or other reasons like that, but it is the same bank account I have been sending money for over a year. I had enough it looks like they really don’t care about their customers, when something goes wrong and you call their customer service line they are the rudest people I have talked to. All of them seem like they hated their job. Like I said I had enough, I decided to use some of the other money transfer apps: remitly, RIA etc.

Worst service, Don’t waste time with this App/Service
I would like to share my worstest worst experience I ever had with the WORLDREMIT. I Was helping one of my friend who stuck Cos I’d lockdown of Covid19, made transaction week ago and today week finished allready, during these one transaction was cancelled by them with new excuses in minute, and another stuck like no where, needed to make new transaction and waited for the refund for the first transaction, after 5 days the receiver person didn’t receive money and called WORLDREMIT And they said your transaction on hold and team working with it, I asked you have promised to complete transaction in 1-3 days, it’s been 5 days since I placed ordered and you guys deducted money, why that long, ? The guy told me wait Untill you gets update and confirmation text should be in few hours and that few hours already passed 24 hours by now already and still the transaction as it is and same as week ago... completely stuck here and full of waste of time, not recommended this app at all..... so be aware and choose wisely.... not the cheap or free schemes.. this is my view and experienced with WORLDREMIT..( actually a WORST @ WORLDREMIT ) good luck who suffers as I did... cheers.😤😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
