Great app
Great cheap price helps me learn alphabet
Overall great, but…
A good way to get to know the consonants but the way the vowels are presented makes little sense. The app teaches you parts of vowels in the exact way that Wikipedia describes the writing system. However, this has almost nothing to do with the way the language is used. Eg When spelling a word, no Thai speaker would ever refer to า as ‘Lak khang’ as the app peresents. They would say ‘sala aa’. Eg 2: ‘fan nu’ " is not a vowel at all but part of the vowel ื which Thai speakers would call ‘sala ūū’.
The addition of diphthongs would greatly improve the app as would the addition of a setting to disable obsolete letters.
