Description
Turn your smartphone into a tracker and watch, share and review your sailing on YachtBot. Races can be viewed by your friends, family, and coach in real-time and be analysed post race in any web browser.
To get started download YachtBot Mobile and follow the simple instructions - you're ready to sail! Once the data connection to our servers and GPS connection are established, YachtBot Mobile starts transmitting live GPS position data. With a new race set up on the YachtBot website your friends, family, and coach can watch and analyse your sailing live from the anywhere in the world.
Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Unable to login
As per Compass’ comment, after downloading the app. the user is asked to login to their “existing YB account” despite the fact that they don’t have one given they’ve only just installed the app. Instructions provided by my yacht club refer to a screenshot of a different registration page than what I was presented with showing a “No account? Sign up” link. Go figure?
Compass without a needle !!!
To open the app you are required to sign in with your existing sign in.... NO option to create a new sign in or choose forgotten sign in...
I can only guess the creator of the app was also the only one to rate it and forgot that new users didn’t know his/her sign in details.
