I like the service, but I would prefer an option to be able to link to my photos, be able to resize them, and then attach them as proper separate attachments. It used to be possible to do this....now they get put into the email (which often means the email doesn’t go or get delivered successfully unless it’s only a couple of images). I am also not that happy that so much endless marketing emails turns up in my inbox....I would like to be able to empty it of all that rubbish...but so much stuff turns up in it...it’s very annoying. I think you should be able to setup a rule so that a maximum number of unsolicited marketing emails can be in your box at any one time. And that they are automatically deleted after 15 days if they are not opened...(just a an idea for a bit of creativity for the product, plus I reckon people would liken this! Even marketers could benefit because at the moment inboxes are swamped... with their marketing buried...this would streamline it.
Needs tweaking?

I’ve used the Yahoo! Mail app for years and am overall happy with it, until the latest updates? Generally an improvement but a couple things I feel that were in the previous app that are missing now. Firstly, I’d like to see a return to the “BIN” icon/function next to Spam and Recycle Bin folders so you can just bulk delete with one tap instead of going into the folder, tapping select, selecting all, confirming delete, and all that. One tap on the bin icon to delete all from the folder like it used to be would be much better for the new update. Also, every time you scroll down the list of folders and enter a chosen folder folder, when you go back again you have to start again from the top and research for the same or different folders further down EVERY time! Can it not be designed so that when you swipe back to the folders select column that it takes you immediately back to the last selected/open folder column please? Seems frustrating and time consuming to have to do this every time you want to search another folder. Other than that I’m fairly happy with the new app design but would love for these 2 basic improvements and “reinclusions” to be a part of the new design. Thanks.

I have always had a yahoo account and been extremely impressed with the service and graphics. I have found that especially for a free service it is very good. However I am now finding it extremely frustrating the large ads that appear in amongst my email threads.I have tried to purchase Yahoo Pro as I did have this before but now it doesn’t seem to be available in Australia or I cannot find it in my account settings and I have followed the instructions on every search for it.Honestly if you want people especially those that work from home to continue to use this app & I have spoken with many you really need to have Yahoo Pro as an option to purchase here.Just a suggestion as I know others are looking at other accounts to now utilise.
terrible text editing, crashes
phylomena
oh, and there's no support for varying text sizes in the per app accessibilty settings. As I age, the Yahoo mail text size is just too small. To summarize... The yahoo mail app - crashes - can’t handle editing in text mode properly - displays ads - crashes I’m now using Apple’s Mail app for my yahoo mail, and I recommend you do the same. forgot to mention - forced url previews are a joke. if I paste in a url string, I want a url string, not an html preview hiding the url. the text-only editor hasn't been fixed, it has been removed. *** Still crashing on startup on iPad 4 (iOS 10.3.3) most of the time. This yahoo mail app's text editing leaves much to be desired, particularly in text mode. Returns are just stripped, and words and lines are run together. Instead, returns should be replaced by a space to prevent this. Multiple returns should be treated as a paragraph break, and preserved. Try writing in text mode, and look at the mail that is delivered to e.g. a mailing list, particularly one that strips html attachments. It's embarrassing. Please fix this - although you've had years to do so, and haven't.
