Politely Innovative for a Tech-lead World!

We absolutely love our Yoto. Since making our purchase, we have submitted feedback for various ideas and things we would like to see as part of an update to both the app and the player in the future; customer service teams on all platforms are a delight to chat to, are polite and informative and seemed to genuinely appreciate customers getting on board to submit ideas! Our child loves the Yoto and I personally enjoy tinkering around with its different options and set ups, Make Your Own card and streamlining functionalities. I am fascinated by this politely innovation product the slots right in amongst our Montessori environment. Keep up the great work guys!

App lags and is so frustrating to use

there is no haptical feedback whatsoever in the app that shows me that it registered my click for example when I want to play another song. It also takes at least several seconds to change the song and then sometimes jumps back again by itself. When I update a playlist and link it to an existing card the new songs are not loaded onto the card not by linking the card via phone nor via player. The internet takes ages to connect, sometimes requiring to turn the player off and on several times. The overall app experience is worse than on a windows 98 computer in 1999 trying to chat with my crush on msn while downloading a photo from the internet and playing the Harry Potter game at the same time if you know what I mean. Please get your act together and fix this madness.

Sorry to hear that Lulu3345678! We do have haptic feedback on the audio controls so not sure why that's not working for you (perhaps turned off in your phone settings). When you change songs I assume you are changing songs on the player from the app? When you do this, the app sends a request to the player for the player to action. If that is taking time that points to either your network is slow, bandwidth is constrained, the player is too far from the router or your player is faulty. The player struggling to connect to the internet would also confirm those theories. If you contact us on hello@yotoplay.com we can investigate with you so that you're getting the best experience out of your player. Re the updated card, when you update the playlist, it is updated on the card immediately, however, you need to give the player time to download the new version of it. Leave your player online, plugged in and idle to give the player a chance to download it.

My son is obsessed!

We bought our 4 year old son a Yoto for Christmas and he loves it! It’s such a great alternative to screen time! We use it in the car on long drives and at home! He loves Yoto daily and listening to stories before bed! We just got him some new cards for his birthday and can’t wait to give them to him!
