The app has a good range of magazines but frankly I got tired of being told that I had to renew my subscription when ZINIO had already taken the monthly subscription. Very good at collecting the subscription, not so good at providing consistent access, and as you can see from other reviews I’m not the only one. Also the fact that even though you download a magazine to your device, you still need to be online to begin to read something that was previously “downloaded”. One star may seem harsh but if you can’t consistently provide a service someone has paid for really you don’t deserve any stars, it’s not like you’ll refund me for the multitude of times you didn’t provide what was paid for and why should I continually have to advise customer service of issues with your product which, as I said previously noted, others have also notified you of.

Good content, terrible experience

The content is impressivecand well worth the subscription fee. However, the app is really sluggish. Magazines take forever to download, the app crashes a lot and th reader feature doesn’t always work which means I need to open the same magazine multiple times for itto work. I couldn’t stand the app anymore and decided to switch to Apple News+ which offers less content at a higher price but with an elegant and fluid user interface that makes up for it. A faster and more practical user interface will definitely make me switch back in a heartbeat.

Great app when working 2

I Have the same issue as a previous reviewer. I have been unable to get the app to work for the last 2 months. Even removing and reinstalling as well as restore purchases has not worked. I have used this app for the last 12 months with no issue but it started occurring during the last couple of months so something needs to be done. I will be deleting the app and removing my subscription if it is not resolved in the next 2 weeks.
