In app purchase complete but does not show up in game

The game is addictive for sure, however I’m on level 41 and can’t seem to get access to any elephants which is holding back my quests, so I bought a jar of hearts unwillingly through the appstore and never received the purchased hearts. Somebody really needs to explain, considereing this is where you make your money.
