Coincidence?
This site has gone downhill from when I first gave it a go many years ago. The app is glitchy, sometimes it freezes and you are unable to send messages. You can’t change the age range in the carousel and the search filters just seem to show the same people over and over again. A lot of the views are fake as I continuously get messages asking if I have viewed their profile when I’ve never seen their profile before. I get men messaging me well over the age range I have set, when they shouldn’t be able to view me at all. Considering it’s a paid site and quite expensive for what you get, they certainly need to upgrade their features to give the user more control. It seems the algorithm of the site gets it all wrong and is just stuck on repeat. If I was to have written this review a few years ago I would have given them 5 stars but unless they invest in their site and make some changes it’s quality has declined and has fallen behind some of the others sites.
Gone to the dogs
Unfortunately the app has gone from being so so to pitiful. You can no longer fill in the full profile details as you once could. You can’t fill in your preferred social behaviour like before. What you can fill in is displayed in a way you can’t understand what the person has selected for a given response. Meaning you cant see if they are drinkers smokers ect. Not having full features and proper profiles to be displayed or read has made this experience beyond hard and it had been such a proven method for us users. The people displayed in the search and carousel feature are not at all in line with the preferences I’ve chosen. Not even close in fact. You see the same people over and over and then theres all the fake views or fake messages designed to get subscriptions. You people are just money grabbing and having no interest in what we as users are actually asking for from the site. There are far better sites that actually give us the chance to find what we’re looking for and cheaper too!!!
Not that my review will go far. Noone is interested in anything but money grabbing here and keeping subscribers renewing

Major scam and fake accounts
I have to agree with one of the other reviews, it is a major scam most of the accounts are fake and there may be a couple or real people who I have spoken too but distance was an issue for them. Then I spoken to a few others both on and then switch over to a different form of communication like what’s app and chat for a few days then it’s oh I’m having trouble with this can you send money to help me out please I’ve been asked from $200 up to $5000 really to think they think I’m that stupid good try but no. Way too many fake accounts and I think maybe at some stage they may have left the site but Zoosk just keeps the profile to scam and keep the numbers up. I have also messaged a few people about the amount of times they viewed me and they said haven’t even view you once. Come on Zoosk surely you aren’t that desperate when you claim to have millions of members.
Don’t waste your time and money go elsewhere. I would have it I had not joined before the other review was up.
