Google Gemini just got a major upgrade with the launch of its 3 Pro model. The app that brought us the Nano Banana image editor and generator has levelled up its ability to research, vibe code, travel plan and much more.

Quick take: We were seriously impressed with Gemini 3 Pro. It helped us search for holiday flights that met our admittedly convoluted criteria, suggested detailed recipes when we snapped a photo of what’s in our fridge and, in Build mode, created an arcade-style asteroid game (in one minute) that filled us with nostalgia.
