《危險的科學實驗》遊戲具有手勢辨識和探究實驗的特色。遊戲主題分為「強酸強鹼危險實驗」和「調配次氯酸水」兩個單元。
「強酸強鹼危險實驗」：使用者可以運用手勢，模擬實驗操作真實手感，透過手機或平板的鏡頭，辨識手掌動作，拿取及移動虛擬實驗物品，進行強酸強鹼稀釋實驗，除可避免實驗危險，並可幫助使用者實作學習。
「調配次氯酸水」：透過製作次氯酸水的調配模擬介面，取得實驗數據，進而分析與比較表格數據，形成解釋，培養使用者判讀與解釋圖表的能力。
