Description
Combine photos and videos. Trim video and its audio, create audio spectrograms. Add, remove or replace video audio. Blend, filter, reverse, time warp video & audio.
Combine videos, live photos, and still photos into a single video. Add wipe transitions and audio to the soundtrack. Reverse video and audio for creative effects. Trim videos and audio together, or use the "First Selected Media Item Audio" option for actions like Replace Audio, Add Audio, or Add Audio From Current Time.
Live and still photos convert to video, enabling actions like filtering, trimming, cropping, rotating, labeling, and overlaying. Combine multiple videos with layouts such as side-by-side, stacked, grids, or sliding conveyors.
At the top of the screen, a picker displays photo albums. Tap an album to show its contents in a scrollable collection below. Tap media to add it to your project. Use the media actions menu to import from iCloud, paste new media, or merge items. Access the menu through the rightmost button.
AddMovie supports importing media through share menus in other apps. Tap a media item to play it, or tap and hold to open the video actions menu for editing.
What’s New
Version 2.6.1
• NEW: The `Resize` menu has a new option to resize the player video to the first selected item in the media picker.
• NEW: When creating a Live Photo for the player video a new option is presented when you choose to pick a representative photo (the key photo). You can choose to resize the photo to fit inside the frame of the video, or keep the actual photo size.
Tips:
To resize the video to match another item, ensure that the desired item is the first selected while the player contains the video to be adjusted. Then the option `First Selected Media Item Size` will be included in the menu. Aspect ratio is not preserved. The `Resize` menu item is in the `Edit` submenu of the 'Video Actions Menu' .
To create a Live Photo for a video select `Save As Live Photo` from the 'Video Actions Menu'.
Access the 'Video Actions Menu' by tapping and holding on the player video, or by choosing 'Video Actions Menu' from the 'Media Actions Menu' in the toolbar at the bottom right corner of the screen.
Previous update:
• NEW: Share the trimmed audio in the Trimmer view.
• FIX: Removed a bug witnessed in most recent iOS version that could cause the app to crash when picking a live photo as an overlay in the Overlay & Mask view.
Tips:
Use the 'Overlay & Mask' menu item in the 'Video Actions Menu' to overlay images and videos, including GIFs as videos.
Use the 'Trim' menu item in the 'Edit' submenu of the 'Video Actions Menu' to open the Trimmer view. In the Trimmer view select 'Share Trimmed Audio' from the popup menu selector in the middle of the toolbar.
• Option to create symmetric spectrograms. A symmetric spectrogram is a vertical combination of a spectrogram with itself flipped vertically. A spectrogram can be generated for the current player video audio using the video actions menu (tap and hold on video player OR select from the media actions menu in the toolbar). A spectrogram can be generated for any imported audio, either audio sent to AddMovie via sharing, or using the `Import Files` menu item in the media action menu to browse the file system (including iCloud).
• Improved video color.
