Not even worth 1 star
Let me point out some points about this app
1) going to the next page to continue reading takes at minimum 40 seconds or minutes( depends on the time of the day or the mood of the app). This allows you to go for a bio break or make a nice coffee. If this is not appealing - you can do some mindfulness exercises, you will need them 🤭
2) the app does not only pretend to be an e-book reader, on top of that you get the chance to guess the words on some pages, as if and when the page appears its seems like the ink ran out….
3) and then if you think you finally are on the next page, (after your bio break ) and if the text is appearing ( halleluja!); you will find out ,already after the third word or sooner for most of us, it is not the next page, it is simply the same page 😭
Dear Adobe, please be fair and get this off the market and come back when you have an MVP….This is not even an MVP.
Oplichting
Ik kocht een duur e-book aan via bookspot. Helaas bleek het een adobe digital editions boek te zijn ipv een standaar epub.
Enkel te lezen via dit waardeloze programma. Het boek laad in maar het is amper leesbaar. Paginanummers volgen niet. Veel lege pagina’s en de tekst sprint alle kanten uit. Dankzij jullie waardeloze systeem ben ik 18 euro armer en moet ik als nog het boek opnieuw aankopen, deze keer op papier omdat jullie systeem niet werkt. Gewoonweg crimineel.
Broken highlighting system
For some reason it is far more difficult to select a text and highlight it than in ibooks. But worst of all: as of this week the app started to forget the highlights I made before. Everytime I come back to the same book after a few hours my highlights ae gone. Just great.
