Description

WHO Adolescent Job Aid is user friendly method for learning the process of dealing with an adolescent patient including HEADS, sexual and reproductive history.

The WHO Adolescent Job Aid was released in 2010 for use by Medical Officers /Doctors who are involved in medical and health care of adolescents. This booklet provides information on clinical interaction with adolescents, an algorithmic approach to identify and manage common clinical conditions during adolescence, and information on common topics to be shared with adolescents and their parents.

The Adolescent Job Aid has been converted into a mobile app where the user can search for and use an algorithm corresponding to the presenting complaint. This mobile app also prompts to take relevant history like HEADS and reproductive and sexual history. The mobile app then takes forward through the algorithm and provide a classification of the current illness/problem. The app also assists in providing the information on its management. The App also provides the information on 7 common topics as contained in the Adolescent Job Aid booklet.

The app serves as a user-friendly job aid for the physician in their day-to-day clinical work for providing healthcare to adolescent client.
