Photogallery slow

Having the AS3102v2 latest ADM I still have a slow build up of thumbs when scrolling. The NAS is constantly rattling.

Hi Lounge021, we're sorry for the bad experience. It takes time to index and make thumbnails. (majorly depend on images’ quantity & quality). The system may be busy, especially for entry-level models. About the noise issue, it’s common for HDDs. If you have further questions, please mail to curtishsu@asustor.com. Thank you.

Better but still to slow for big archives

A big step forward compared with the previous versions. But thumbnail building is still slow. So scrolling through all pictures is not smooth. Rebuild of thumbnails is repeated each time. When compared with for example google photos the difference is still significant.

Thanks for the feedback.
Thumbnails will only build once but when loading thumbnails from NAS database, it takes time and the time is vary from different NAS models.
Would you mind telling us what NAS model you have?
One more thing, Google photos is local based and the photos are stored in your phone so the thumbnails speed is fast. But we will definitely try to understand and improve the experience.
