Dankzij de officiële mobiele applicatie van American Express® heeft u overal toegang tot uw Kaartrekening. Krijg toegang tot uw Amex App met Face ID of Touch ID. Betaal uw rekeningen en profiteer van functies die alleen beschikbaar zijn in de Amex App. De Amex App is beschikbaar in het Frans en Nederlands.

DE EERSTE KEER TOEGANG
• Log in op de Amex App met dezelfde inloggegevens als voor uw online AMEX account.
• Als u uw AMEX online account nog niet hebt geactiveerd, dan kunt u uw inloggegevens rechtstreeks op de Amex App instellen.

BEHEER GEMAKKELIJK UW KAARTREKENING
• Activeer uw Kaart.
• Bekijk, wijzig of ontgrendel de pincode van uw Kaart.
• Chat live 24/7 met onze Klantendienst over Kaartgerelateerde vragen en aanpassingen in uw account.
• Blokkeer en deblokkeer uw Kaart direct en op elk gewenst moment.
• Vervang uw beschadigde, verloren of gestolen Kaart via de Amex App.
• Wijzig uw e-mailadres in de Amex App.
• Stel uw standaardkaart in. Bij het openen van de Amex App wordt u automatisch naar het starttabblad van uw gewenste Kaart geleid. Handmatig navigeren is niet meer nodig.

BETALINGEN EN SALDO
• Bekijk alle aankopen en restituties in de afgelopen 7 maanden.
• Bekijk en download uw Kaartrekeninguittreksels via de Amex App.
• Bekijk de lopende transacties op de tijdlijn.

Costly credit card with lousy app

Having Amex is costly. The poor quality app makes you wonder if it’s worth it. With a competitor I get a message in seconds when I pay … I can freeze my card and unfreeze when I use. More importantly, I get two factor authentication with an Authenticator app and I can activate faceID. Amex should get a clue or I anticipate they will eventually disappear. Poor service peeves customers.

Worst AMEX app in the world

I have AMEX cards in 3 different countries so I use 3 different apps, they all have the same design but this one has like 1/4 of all the features.

First, no Apple Pay, what type of “premium” credit card has no Apple Pay in times of corona? Specially when AMEX has Apple Pay in the rest of the world, Netherlands, France and Germany included.

No way to see your membership rewards points in the app.

No way to see the spending of each card individually if you have more than one card in your account, it’s all together.

No notifications whenever there’s a charge.

No app in English when it’s obvious that more than 3/4 of their customers are foreigners (myself included).

I can go on and on, I have this card for the travel perks and the ease of payment abroad but AMEX Belgium is just a disappointment compared to the service/perks and even the mobile apps of AMEX in any other country.

Hopefully you fix this soon, I can see I’m not the only person complaining. Not even 2 stars overall rating for your app and still no solutions.

No Apple Pay. Low quality product

No Apple Pay support, which in 2023 is a big miss. Support team replies playbook answers saying that their team is always working on improving bla bla bla, but the reality is that you see people complaining for years and still no Apple Pay.

The app itself is very basic, you can’t do much, and looks really low quality.

All in all, it does not match the “high standard” and premium product that it’s advertised.
