Can I, Everyone communicates 4+

The goal of ‘Can I‘ is to enable or simplify communication between people who are not able to communicate in usual ways (spoken or written language, sign language). It does this in the following way:
The app consists of two layers: the first layer is ‘categories’, the second one is ‘items’. By swiping images left or right users can look at different options. By touching an image the user first chooses a category, for example: drinks. The second layer then opens, where the user can select an item. He has the option to choose from milk or juice. This way, the user can communicate his or her wishes and needs.

When downloaded, the app is ‘empty’, you can fill it with your own pictures. You can use the administrator screen to adjust the app to your personal wishes and needs. You enter the administrator screen by tapping the image in the upper right corner. You can use images from your gallery or take a picture to represent different categories and items. 
You can record a word or short sentence which is then played when a user chooses the image. You can also adjust the background color of a category, and the items connected will have the same background color. Categories and items are easy to remove, and you can also adjust the order in which they appear. 
Finally there is the option of putting a cross over a category or item. The user is temporarily unable to select crossed out categories or items. You leave the administrator screen by tapping the icon in the upper right corner again.

In this free version three categories can be created, with up to three items each. Adding more is possible after an in-app purchase.
