Color Name AR 4+

I’m willing to pay for an app, but if I can’t test it without paying or having to take a subscription, I’m not interested. It feels like trickery and almost a scam as two months subscription cost you more than a one time purchase. I feel part of the game is to hope people forget to undo the subscription within 3 days if they don’t like the app.

I am very sorry your experience using the app was unsatisfactory. However, I see that the reason for this was a misunderstanding that I would like to clarify.

The app has a completely free version with awesome features that satisfy the needs of 99% of casual users and a Pro version with a one-time purchase fee and a free 3-day trial. To use the free version of the app instead of the paid Pro version, all you have to do is close the subscription screen that appears after downloading the app, when you first open it. This will take you straight to the free version that you can use without interruptions.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on using Color Name AR! I am sorry your experience was, however, unsatisfactory.
The app is quite easy to use. The first thing you need to ensure is that it has access to your device's camera (you can allow access from your device's settings). Once it does, simply open it and point the camera at the color you are trying to identify and the app will show you the color name and details on the screen.
If you want to identify a color in a photo you already have, simply select the photo and use your finger to hover over the photo and identify the names of different colors.
I have also made a lot of improvements to the app recently and recommend that, if you are using an older version, you download the latest version to enjoy everything Color Name AR has to offer.
