You should know who you are training with! Meet your dance teacher, Robbie Downey, also widely known as Ballet Freak. Robbie has been dancing for over 20 years. As a pre-professional classical ballet dancer, Robbie trained at the top ballet schools in the country including year round in New York City. She has danced at professional ballet companies, won several awards, and has been invited to compete at prestigious international ballet competitions. She has also worked as a dance and flexibility teacher for children and adult beginners since 2017 and in addition she is barre fitness certified.

Robbie is successfully still dancing professionally as a guest and freelance classical ballet artist. She has had her own online ballet training programs, including Perfect Pirouettes, with hundreds of students since 2016 and has co-founded a small dance company in the Los Angeles area. She has attended many top notch summer intensives and can help you navigate applications, video submissions, and photos.

Robbie is still young enough to recall in detail her experiences from schools and first pointe shoe fittings. She had to work really hard to get where she is today. Not everything came easy for her but she persevered. Robbie did not have direct on demand access to a mentor or any extra help in making decisions about her training. This would have been a great advantage but it was not available to her. Whether you are looking for ballet technique, flexibility, artistry, barre fitness, audition, competition, or pointe shoe help… she would love to help you in your ballet, flexibility, or fitness journey. The courses are suitable for tweens, pre-professionals, adult beginners, or adult former dancers looking to get back to barre.

We often receive feedback that those looking to do barre for fitness are frustrated and not getting the results they would like. Many people have communicated that they feel they are doing barre fitness classes wrong and not getting results. Many programs over promise and under-deliver without providing proper foundations and leading people to believe it's very easy to obtain a dancer's body. Serious dancers are in the studio 20-40 hours per week. The barre classes we provide will actually show you correct technique and explain each movement. Robbie will encourage you to achieve correct form and a true passion for ballet so it is more than a workout. You will gain enough confidence to visit a real ballet studio!

The download of DancePro App is free of charge. There is no free trial. Should you use DancePro App app, we offer one of the following options:


Payment will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account after the trial period and when a subscription renews. A subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the subscription period. There is no increase in price when renewing. One Time Payments will only be charged one time initially.
