Latest update reacts sluggish

I use the Eufy Doorbell with the eufy security app. I manually disable and enable motion detection based on our presence or when we go to sleep. The latest update changed the user interface which in turn also responds slugishly when trying to access the video doorbell settings.

I preferred the previous version since it required fewer clicks to enable/disable motion detection and responded snappy.

No scheduled geofencing?

There is no option to disable geofencing at night by using an schedule. The lack of this core functionality renders the security aspect of the device to none. Disabling geofence and getting a million notifications when you’re around the house isn’t an option either. In the community one of the admins mentioned It would be available in Q2 2020. Q4 2021 still no sign. Security cameras that don’t register at night unless you manually activate them every single evening... Come on Eufy, you can do better than this...

Great devices and software, but bloated app

Eufy has great devices and I use them already many years. Software is good and it just always works. However, the app is bloated with things I don’t need, it’s annoying that the app is constantly motivating me to buy more products. Don’t keep me asking I need to turn my location permission on, always on for this app. It’s unneccessary, annoying and triggers my privacy concerns.
