it gives information about the things you like every day again in a very nice way: with the photo and the title you can immediately know if you want to read further
and you can save (and share) the things you want
Advertising and paywlled sites
Unfortunately adverts have become the bread and butter of news sites and they have made them virtually unusable. I actually think Flipboard inserts even more adverts in the curated content it serves. Flipboard also offers so much content from sites behind paywalls that rather a lot of it is actually inaccessible. On my iPad 4 it has become so slow - multiple times what it takes to load the pages through the browser, that I can only use my newer phone for this.
I used to love Flipboard a lot and while I still swear by it, it has degraded over time.

Some sources on our platform have a paywall wherein they require a subscription to view their full content. Otherwise, you're limited to a certain number of article views per source. If you would rather not see content from these paywall sources, you can mute them. Tap ⋮, select "Less like this", then select the mute option.
