Prove instantly who you are when accessing online services and get control of your data across the web with the Gataca Wallet.
With Gataca you can:
- Collect and securely store personal data and verifiable credentials from Gataca Partners on your phone
- Instantly authenticate and access digital services without using forms or passwords
- Prove your identity by sharing only the necessary data
- Control and manage access to your personal information in one place
- Reduce the risk of someone hacking your data for malicious use
- Backup and recover your wallet in case you lose your phone
How it works:
1. Set up your wallet: enter your email and the Gataca wallet will create a globally unique identifier and a pair of cryptographic keys that will protect your personal information.
2. Collect credentials: enter information manually like your photo ID, your address or your phone, or download verified credentials from Gataca partners. All the information is securely stored on your phone. Gataca does not keep a copy of your credentials.
3. Sign-up to digital services by scanning a QR code and consenting to share only the necessary information from your wallet.
