This update contains some improvements, providing a better user experience. Additionally, Map Creator now supports push notifications. This opt-in feature allows users to receive alerts when Map Tasks are available within their Adopted Neighborhoods, as well as other notifications regarding community campaigns and HERE updates. Each type of notification can be configured in the app settings.

Speed limit in France changed years ago, dient hours ein correcting, nothing improved in 2 years. Spent hours submitting changes in poorly mapped area, 2 years later still previous crap guiding into inaccessible streets. UX sucks. Looks like nothing changes, only competitors do good job integrating feedback, HERE does not manage to do so and us prohibitively slow. Don’t install the app, don’t use it, it’s a waste of time.
Bad app to improve a bad service
When installed, it lets you edit streets and places but when you press upload, the screen goes blank and you have to close the app and restart it. This way it will take forever to make Here Maps more accurate. Actually, longer because the changes won’t even upload, they’re just saved in some weird outbox. Forever.
For example Antwerp Belgium city center is 90% a 30km/h zone, which it has been for almost 10 years now.
On every other App (Waze, NAVIGON, Coyote etc) it’s been corrected loooooong ago, except on Here Maps.
Have a guess which maps BMW/Audi/VW/Skoda/Seat/Mercedes drivers use on their in-car satnav... yup it’s Here Maps. And it’s not just in Antwerp, pretty much every road in Europe. Explains so much, doesn’t it?
My advice? Don’t even bother.
