To play pieces, Metronaut requires an annual or monthly subscription after a 7-day free trial.
The subscription is auto-renewing. Payment will be charged at the time of purchase and will auto-renew until you unsubscribe.
Unsubscribe via the Account Settings page at least 24 hours in advance to avoid paying for the next cycle.
You will be charged the full subscription amount up to 24 hours before the renewal date.
Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription.
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current subscription period.

Great accompaniment
I am an adult beginner on cello (just over 2 years now) and when I started, I had as good as no experience with music theory nor with playing an instrument.
I installed Metronaut a few days ago and it has proven to be a very useful tool. When running it for the first time, it asks what instrument you are playing, and it recommends pieces based on your input.
To play a piece, tap it, and a music sheet showing the notes for your instrument (and in a tablet also the notes for the accompaniment). You can set a countdown before it actually starts playing the accompaniment and recording your play. You can change the speed to accomodate to your own preferences and skills. While playing, a cursor scrolls through the music sheet, making it easy to see when your next note come up.
I admit to not having tried out every functionality yet, but all in all, my first trials have proven to be quite interesting.
