The STIB-MIVB App is your partner for all your journeys through Brussels! Enjoy a personalised experience to plan your journeys through Brussels and beyond, by including STIB-MIVB and the other transport operators in Brussels.

To do so, create your account, which will allow you to access a variety of functionalities. You already have a STIB-MIVB account on MyBOOTIK (the online service to purchase transport tickets)? Great! Just use your MyBOOTIK user ID to log on!

The itinerary search of the STIB-MIVB App is the best door-to-door solution. Thanks to the positioning system, that includes a transport mode optimisation (on foot, bus, tram, metro or even train), you can get effortlessly from your departure point to your final destination. Launch an itinerary search and follow the instructions. Once you are in your transport mode (bus, tram, metro), the app will warn you to alight when you arrive near your destination. When you finished your itinerary, your journey will be added to your frequently used lines. Moreover, you can find your recent itinerary searches.

You wish to think ahead and organise a journey in advance? No problem! Simply register your request and the app will warn you when it's time to go!

The disruptions on your frequently used lines and the lines near your position are always available. With one click you can see the waiting time in real time at the stops nearby or the timetables of a line. You can save your favourite destinations and rename them. Thanks to this functionality, you can immediately launch your itinerary until one of your favourite destinations. What's more, you can save a stop or line in your favourites so as to immediately consult the waiting time at the stop and the possible disruptions associated or the detail of the line.

When consulting a line, the information regarding lines parallel to this line is easily accessible. It will allow you to manage your journey and to optimise it by taking the first line servicing your stop.

Moi, j’utilise l’application chaque jour, c’est ma main droite, si je peux dire mais , ça fait plusieurs jours que ça ne marche pas , quand on fait la recherche ça reste vide…

Manque de clarté

L’application se veut simple, mais c’est souvent très difficile de trouver un trajet (et regarder les horaires). Il est souvent plus simple de trouver un trajet (des fois même des arrêts temporaires) avec Google maps. Vraiment pas convaincu par cette application, en espérant qu’elle continue d’évoluer (ce qu’elle a fait dans le bon sens depuis ses débuts).

You can buy tickets in this app but you have 24 hours to validate in a metro. Many people will forget to do so or be prevented by strikes, accidents, etc. Why would you need to validate in 24 hours in a metro when you have a confirmed payment of say 10 tickets? Therefore I wont use this app again. Elderly people should not use this app.

To the reply: When I went to the mobib GO vending machine in Stockel, I had no tickets on my card though I had bought ten just one hour before at home. So I bought ten tickets and went to the Stib shop in Brouckere where the kind Stib employee added the ten tickets I bought in the app. He also explained it usually takes 2-3 business days for tickets bought in the app to show up when you scan the card. Oh I tried many times! What a useless piece of crap. You would use this app so you don't have to queue, but now I learnt you have to wait several days and then you have to validate within 24 hours. Completely unpredictable app and you may lose the tickets you bought. This is a scam.

Hi,

You do not have to validate in the metro, you only need to scan your MOBIB-card in front of a GO vending machine. That way the connection is made with our systems and your ticket will be loaded on your account. This is the same case on our website.
