Video in app has fewer features and makes it annoying

There are no subtitles. For some reason you can only watch at 1.5x but not 1.25x, which makes it harder without subtitles. There is no double tap function to rewind or fast forward like in YouTube. You have to drag the little ball back but you may miss drag too much back and you’re forced to review 1 minute instead of 10 seconds. (This adds up. Do this 10-20 times per video) These are common features in most players. Surprising it needs to be said.
