Description
Do not just give someone your ID or a copy of your ID. With the KopieID app, you can protect your identity details. Use KopieID to make a safe copy of your identity card, passport or driving licence.
- Take a photo of your identity document.
- Cross out privacy-sensitive information, such as your burgerservicenummer (BSN).
- Indicate who the copy is intended for and for what purpose. This text and the date are added on the copy as a watermark.
- You can now send the copy, print it or save it safely for later use. Saving the copy is only possible if you have crossed out something.
This app has been published by the National Office for Identity Data - Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations.

Download the latest version of the app. In this version, the new model of the Dutch passport has been added under the information button (Where is the burgerservicenummer (BSN) located?).

Goed concept ... met rammels!
In beginsel als idee prima. Maar de uitwerking is helaas sub-optimaal. (1) Het scannen gaat redelijk primitief. Centreert niet automatisch. Drukt niet vanzelf af (neemt dus niet automatisch op). (2) Eenmaal wanneer met wat handstandjes de foto gescand is, is deze niet meer te kalibreren. Wel in-uitzoomen, maar niet horizontaal bij te stellen. Resultaat onnodige buitenranden en handelingen achteraf. (3) Het uiteindelijk gescande document is ook NIET in de foto-map te bewaren (behalve via de omweg van screenshot maken).Wel in een rits andere Apps. (4) Ook is het NIET mogelijk een reeds opgenomen foto (van paspoort, ID etc.) uit je album te openen in de App. Ik Kijk uit naar een relevante update.

Vermijd identiteitsfraude!
Maar weinig mensen lijken zich bewust van deze problematiek. Er zou meer aandacht aan preventie (~ sensibilisering) besteed moeten worden.
Goed bezig
Het is niet simpel om eens een goede score te geven aan moedertje staat maar hierbij een dikke duim.
