In one drag to the edge of your display, you size any app into half of the screen. And by dragging its windows to corners, you snap them into quarters. Sliding on the bottom edge creates thirds, or even sixths on ultra-wide monitors. Taking advantage of such arrangements eliminates app switching and greatly enhances workspace efficiency.
All commands can be triggered via keyboard shortcuts as well. You can find a predefined set of hotkeys under the menu bar icon, or create ones that fit your habits.

Great productivity boosting app
Great little app! It allows you to easily use multiple apps on the same screen (e.g.: a pdf file in preview in the top right corner, a safari window in the bottom right corner and a pages window in the left half of your screen). If you find yourself continually switching between apps, give Magnet a try. It really is able to change your workflow.I wouldn’t be suprised at all if Apple ends up buying the developer and incorporating this app into the next version of MacOS as a standard feature (hint Apple!).

Love this tool
This tool is working as expected! It give me functionality and flexibility I’ve always missed in OSX.
I have two monitors and the tool work seamless with this. I can move screens from one screen to the other and it remember the position of the window (full screen on monitor 1 = full screen on monitor 2).
I highly recommend this tool to everybody!
