Whether you’re a seasoned fitness enthusiast or a newcomer to Barre, our classes are thoughtfully crafted to accommodate all levels, fostering a supportive and inclusive community.

Motion Study Mind/Body Studio in Newton, MA was founded by Denise Griffin Crowe and Julie Chrzan, both highly trained with a combined 25+ years of experience in the barre industry. Denise and Julie believe that exercise should empower you, enhance your life, and give you the energy and strength to accomplish everyday tasks.

Motion Study’s signature Barre classes seamlessly combine total body, core-centric strength exercises with balancing stretches. Our dynamic Barre classes result in toned muscles, increased flexibility and enhanced overall strength and wellness.

Our high energy 45-minute Cardio class flows seamlessly from one exercise to the next, with options for low and high impact movements and an emphasis on the gluteals and core. Done on a yoga mat, this class will use light and heavy weights and may also utilize Core Balls, gliders, and resistance bands.
