Works perfectly across devices using iCloud sync.

Hands down the best app if you want to take back control of your personal data: all your notes can be kept in iCloud as plain files. Obsidian does not own them and you can access everything offline!

Sad

You can’t choose a local folder and sync it to your own server. You have to use icloud or Obsidian’s sync

****– ::: Great, but a few remarks nonetheless :::

1️⃣ Probably due to the Obsidian Platform's underlying fundamental architecture (igs), it cannot and does not support HardSpace nor LineBrk (NewLine) character functionality – or am I mistaken on this (which would be wonderful news) ? 2️⃣ [1:] Tap a note in the list of notes → [2:] We get a full view of the tapped note → [3:] Tap the 23h "document list" icon → [4:] We get back to our notes list indeed, where we find the note's entry that we are back from now highlighted in the list → [5:] Tap the same entry again in a clear attempt to reopen the very same note → [6:] This ~fails unexpectedly, as if there's no way to get back into the same note that we had just returned from. ??!!~ [7:] OK, we can work around this bizarre anomaly (or what do you call such behaviour) in various ways, but then that doesn't take away the utter annoyance it time and again brings about. --- Obsidian v.1.5.8 on iPadOS v17.3.1 --- 2024.02.29.Th.06:30.iPm.
